ID and Address Assistance

For many people experiencing homelessness, the lack of identification or a fixed mailing address is a major barrier. Without either, it’s nearly impossible to apply for a job, secure housing, access healthcare, or receive public benefits. At Resurrection House, we help break down that barrier.

Why IDs Matter

Identification is the foundation for rebuilding stability. It unlocks opportunities for employment, housing, and community services. Having an ID also restores dignity—helping clients feel recognized and included.

How We Help

Our team guides clients through the process of obtaining or replacing essential documents such as:

  • Florida or other state identification cards

  • Birth certificates

  • Social Security cards

We can help you processing the paperwork, and cover basic costs when possible.

Mailing Address

When you are homeless you lack a permanent address to put on your benefit checks and other important items that require one. For homeless clients of Resurrection House, we provide access to a mailing address that you can use to receive mail.
